Skate/ride from Zurich to CoSin
Sports initiative from the CCCZH
On Friday, 4th July @11:00 in the morning we'll start at the Escher-Wyss-Platz (there's a fountain feat. an orange object) in Zurich near the "Hardbrücke" train station to skate (e.g. by inlineskates) or ride (by bicycle) to Bremgarten AG where the CoSin event takes place. Of course we'll organize us for having a bath afterwards ;). At Escher-Wyss-Platz there'll be at least two people wearing geek shirts.
This event is a physical exercise and aims to prepare us geeks physically and therefore also psychologically for the ~2.3 days of non-stop computing with its tendency to suboptimal nutrition. Although it's an initiative from more/less sportive CCCZH (Chaos Computer Club of Zurich) members everyone is invited to start this year's CoSin event at the Escher-Wyss-Platz -- to advance as of there by own means and force. See you there!
The course to take is, given simplified as follows:
- City of Zurich (@Escher-Wyss-Platz)
- Schlieren
- Dietikon
- Bergdietikon
- Berikon
- Zufikon
- Bremgarten
What you have to take with you besides your skates/bicycle:
- Fitness to do sports for up to 3 hrs (there'll however be breaks and some parts which are better, respectively more secure to be done by walking)
- At least 3 liters of water (there'll be possibilites at least in Dietikon and Bergdietikon to fill bottles)
Strongly recommended:
- Something to eat containing salt
- Something to eat containing sugger
